The Ohio Lesbian Festival is turning 30 this year and the Marketplace is sure to fill up quickly, so get your applications in early!

There are a limited number of vendor spaces available. This means that submitting an application does not guarantee a vendor space. Our approval process will be based on a combination of application submission date, seniority AND consideration will be given to creating a diverse and dynamic marketplace. We reserve the right to accept/reject applications based on number of already approved vendors in your category.

OLF 2019 Vendor Fees

Vendor booth fee includes a 10’ x 10’ space with at least 1’ of space between booths. Each approved vendor will have a specified area behind their booth for back stock, chairs, coolers, etc.

Retail/Services & Non-Profit Vendor Booth Pricing

  • SINGLE retail/services booth (10’×10’) and one attendee ticket $225
  • DOUBLE retail/services booth (10’×20’) and two vendor attendee tickets $450
    (Requests for double booths will be considered but not guaranteed. Double booth configurations maybe double deep or double wide depending on the space available.)
  • ONE Non-profit booth (10’x10’) and one attendee ticket $200
  • Marketplace Helper tickets – limit 2 per approved booth
    • First helper ticket $110
    • Second helper ticket $130
  • Table rental $20
  • Chair rental $10 (2 chairs)
  • ***ALL FEES include a $4.95 processing fee and are non-refundable*** (including payment by check)

Marketplace Details & Festival Dates

The 2019 Ohio Lesbian Festival will be held Thursday, September 19 – Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Hoover Y, 1570 Rohr Rd, Lockbourne, OH.

Approved vendors must supply their own 10’x10’ festival canopy (Easy-up/pop-up tent).

Tables/chairs are available to rent – please see application for details.

There is no access to electricity for the Marketplace. If you want to be open at night you will need to bring solar or battery-operated lights. Otherwise, plan to close your booth and enjoy the evening concerts and activities.

We will be holding our annual raffle to support the festival and promote the Marketplace Vendors. We appreciate your participation. Please indicate your willingness to provide an item for the raffle on your application.

Booth spaces will be assigned prior to your arrival at festival. Special requests for placement will be considered and we will do our best to honor these requests.

No personal camping tents will be permitted in the Marketplace area. A designated Marketplace/Vendor camping area will be communicated to you prior to festival and clearly marked when you arrive.

The Marketplace is designated a NO SMOKING ZONE. If you see anyone smoking (anything), you are authorized to ask them to put it out or direct them to a designated smoking area. You may also notify a Marketplace crew member or someone at Home Base.

Dogs/pets are not allowed on the land unless they are recognized assistance dogs/animals. If you have a support/assistance animal, you must register at the box office and obtain a band for the animal.

Marketplace booth fees are non-refundable.

Booth spaces are non-transferable without permission from me.

Please notify me if you have specific personal needs such as mobility, assistance setting up, etc.

The Ohio Lesbian Festival and Hoover Y are gun-free/weapon-free zones. No firearms, including concealed carry w/permit, are permitted on the property.

First round of approvals will be sent/announced no later than May 31, 2019. Rolling approvals will continue weekly until marketplace is full.

If approved, you will receive a link to complete your registration and payment.

    • Wednesday, September 18
      • Marketplace load-in – 3pm -6pm
      • No vending hours
    • Thursday, September 19
      • Marketplace load-in – 9am – 1pm
      • All vendors vehicles moved to parking lot by 2pm.
      • Gates open to festies at 3pm.  No designated vending hours but festies may be browsing the Marketplace
    • Friday, September 20
      • Marketplace hours – 10am-sundown
        There is no electricity, if you plan to be open after dark, you will need to bring solar or battery-operated lights.
      • No load-in; no load-out.
    • Saturday, September 21
      • Marketplace hours – 10am-sundown
        There is no electricity, if you plan to be open after dark, you will need to bring solar or battery-operated lights.

    • Sunday, September 22
      • Marketplace hours – 10am-3pm
      • No early departure
      • Load out 3pm – 6pm
