Hello fabulous OLF community!
We know you all have been waiting anxiously for the answer on whether there will be an Ohio Lesbian Festival in 2021, and we deeply appreciate your patience. It is with tremendous sadness that we must announce that the LBA Board has reached the heart wrenching conclusion that we cannot produce a live weekend festival in 2021. Please know we are equally devastated.
We tried hard to put the pieces into place to hold some version of OLF this year. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, insurance difficulties, and venue issues we think it the better part of wisdom that we save, wait, and plan.
We have every hope & intention of continuing to produce the Ohio Lesbian Festival in 2022! Hopefully, wisdom will guide the world we live in and we will be able to go gayly forward and gather together!
But, there is Good News, TOO! We have seated 3 new board members and welcome Helen Yee, Lee Evans, and Kym Jacobs to the team. We are putting our heads together and thinking of other ways that we can build community. We are open to suggestions – what do you want to see? How can you help make it happen? Let us hear from you.
